Meet Our Instructors

Our instructors bring more than 260 years of experience on the plant floor to our company. That experience means practical, realistic maintenance situations are used as examples in the training seminars we provide, ready for your maintenance technicians to apply when they return to your facility. Our instructors have gained experience on the plant floor from industry giants such as TRW, Bemis, Great Dane Trailers, Copeland, Caterpillar, Amtrak, Inland Steel Company, Allen-Bradley, Furnas, and General Electric.

Their educational background is extensive and varied. Degrees from Indiana State University, Indiana Vocational Technical College, Indiana University, Purdue University, Vincennes University, Southern Illinois University, Eastern Illinois University all combine to make our instructors some of the best in the business. Some of our instructors have taught college level classes in Basic Industrial Electricity, Electromechanical Controls, and Programmable Controls, just to name a few.

Membership in various associations lends in-service updates as well. These associations include: National Fire Protection Association (NFPA), National Electric Code (NEC), The American Water Works Association, American Society for Training and Development (ASTD), Tesla Society, Instrument Society of America, Association of Supervision and Curriculum Development, and the Indiana Electric League.

Extensive maintenance experience, educational background, memberships in professional organizations, and continuing education combine to make all our instructors a critical part of the success of Lewellyn Technology.
